Have you never tried a functional training class and are wondering what to expect? At Redfield T&F, we guide you step by step so you feel comfortable from the first minute. Our classes are designed for all levels, including absolute beginners. Here’s how a typical session is structured:
Phase 1: Guided Warm-up
We begin by activating your body with joint mobility exercises, gentle cardio, and group dynamics that awaken your body and mind. This phase prepares your muscles, joints, and nervous system for what comes next.
Phase 2: Technique or Strength
In this part of the workout, we work on functional movements such as squats, push-ups, and pull-ups. You learn with safe progressions and under the constant supervision of our coaches. The idea is to gain body control and useful strength for your daily life.
Phase 3: WOD (Workout of the Day)
This is where the intensity increases. It’s a circuit of varied exercises that combines functional strength, metabolic cardio, and body skills. We always adapt the WOD to your level. The goal? To improve your performance, gain energy, and push yourself.
Phase 4: Stretching
We finish with a cool-down: stretching, breathing, and often a group chat. It’s time to relax and enjoy the benefits of the workout.
Duration: A full class lasts between 55 and 60 minutes. Just the right amount of time to disconnect from stress and return to your routine with renewed energy.
Ideal for you if… you’re looking for a comprehensive, guided, motivating, high-intensity workout with a strong community component. Try it for free at Redfield T&F!
